These Terms of Service apply when you use opusroom.shop or purchase products from Opus Room. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

About Opus Room

This website is operated under the trading name Opus Room. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Opus Room. References to “you” mean the person using the website or placing an order.

Using this website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, gain unauthorised access, misuse another person's information or infringe intellectual-property rights.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to place an order.

Product information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colours, images and prices are accurate. Screen settings and lighting may affect how colours appear, and minor variations may occur.

Product availability can change without notice. We may update or discontinue products, but changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted unless we agree otherwise with you.

Orders and contract formation

After you place an order, Shopify will send an order confirmation. This acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, unless we have already expressly accepted the order. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch because of unavailable stock, an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, payment problems, delivery restrictions or an incorrect product description. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund.

Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Any applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown before you complete checkout.

Payment is processed using the payment methods offered at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the billing information you provide is accurate.

Delivery

Delivery areas, charges and estimates are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date.

We remain responsible for the goods until they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your cancellation, return and refund rights are explained in our Return and Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Promotions and discount codes

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions, expiry dates and availability limits. Unless stated otherwise, only one discount may be used per order and discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.

Intellectual property

The Opus Room name, branding, website design, written content, graphics and original images are owned by or licensed to Opus Room. You may view the site for personal shopping purposes, but you must not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit its content without prior written permission.

Third-party services and links

Our store is hosted by Shopify and may use third-party payment, delivery, analytics or application services. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy notices.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for content or services supplied by independent third parties, except where the law provides otherwise.

Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, defective products where statutory liability applies, or breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses where you purchased as a consumer. We are not liable for delay caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control, but we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and keep you informed.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices or the law. The version that applies to an order is the version in force when the order is placed.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available under the law that applies where you live.
