Refund policy

We want Opus Room purchases to be straightforward. This policy explains our voluntary 30-day return policy and your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

30-day return policy

You may request a return within 30 days after receiving your order. To qualify under this voluntary policy, the item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, with any labels or accessories included. Proof of purchase is required.

Your right to cancel an online order

If you are a UK consumer, you normally have 14 days after receiving your order to tell us that you wish to cancel it. After notifying us, you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You may inspect an item as you would in a shop. We may make a reasonable deduction from the refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function, resulting in a loss of value.

Starting a return

Email admin@opusroom.shop before sending an item back. Include your order number and the reason for the return. If the return is accepted, we will provide return instructions.

Returns must be sent to: Flat 14, Rennie Court, Brunswick Road, Enfield, EN3 6GB, United Kingdom. Items returned without first contacting us may take longer to identify and process.

Return postage

For a change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item. We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage.

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described or incorrect, Opus Room will cover reasonable return costs or provide an appropriate alternative.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Inspect your order after delivery and contact us promptly if there is a problem. UK consumers may have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days, along with other statutory remedies. This policy does not limit those rights.

Please include clear photographs where appropriate so that we can assess the issue quickly.

Items that cannot be returned

We cannot accept change-of-mind returns for personalised or made-to-order items, goods that deteriorate rapidly, or sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. Gift cards are also non-refundable unless required by law.

These exclusions do not apply where an item is faulty, not as described or where another statutory right applies.

Exchanges

We do not currently process direct exchanges. The quickest option is to return the original item and place a new order once the return has been accepted.

Refunds

We will confirm when your return has been received and inspected. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

For a valid cancellation, we will refund the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional amount paid for a premium delivery service is not refundable unless required by law.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to display the refund.
